The Walk trailer sees Joseph Gordon-Levitt attempt high-wire act
The first trailer for the upcoming high-wire movie The Walk from Robert Zemeckis advertised the film’s 3D and spectacle as much as it teased Joseph Gordon-Levitt walking between the Twin Towers. It seemed the studio/director/creatives behind the project are trying to sell the spectacle as much as they are the true life story. Fortunately, a new full-length trailer for the film fills us in on some of the details behind the daredevil feat, and it’s a doozy. Gordon-Levitt’s French accent is kind of fun, and the movie looks like a nice blend of optimistic adventure and dramatic suspense. Plus, Zemeckis appears to be taking plenty of opportunities to wow with 3D where he can, which can be an exciting element if done well.
