Realm Pictures’ Real Life Hitman game is intense

The folks over at Realm Pictures have created something special with their real life video game experiences. Their latest creation is an Io Interactive-endorsed recreation of the Hitman video game, and it rocks. YouTubers (stars of the platform, it would seem) were given the opportunity to sit down and control Agent 47 through a level of the real life game, and I’m jealous. Watching them work their way through a swanky mansion to eliminate a target and complete a few different objectives is ridiculously entertaining, so I recommend checking out the new video. Who knows, maybe this kind of idea will catch on and a new genre of gaming will emerge.

Watch the new Real Life Hitman video from Realm Pictures after the jump. You can also find the Level 1 and Level 2 first person shooter videos (both great), so be sure to give them a watch too.

I love the attention to detail and aesthetic movement and direction of everything going on here. You really feel like you’re playing a Hitman game, which is impressive in itself, but it’s got to feel like you’re part of the team from that command center. Hacking into terminals and navigating the maps just looks…fun! I know there are plenty of live-action attractions cropping up, charging admittance to give people a crazy experience like breaking out of jail or escaping a haunted house, and it’s cool to see the interactive aspects taking over.

And just for kicks, here are the two Real Life First Person Shooter videos that Realm made for Chatroulette. They’re both great. The first features our protagonist navigating a zombie-infested garden and church, and the second brings him to space. Check them out!
