Empire Magazine premiered its newest cover revealing a 3-page fold out of the Star Trek Into Darkness cast and director. While the image is a little dry, the idea behind the fold out cover is kind of cool. Movie news seems to be sneak peaks of sneak peaks nestled into blurry shots of on-set action, so getting your hands on some more cerebral material by way of a movie magazine is always a nice change of pace.

I’m not a fan of teasers for trailers. They’re pretty pointless unless the purpose is to give fans very little but an urgent sense of anticipation.
That said, here’s our first official trailer/teaser for Vin Diesel’s new RIDDICK film. It’s taken a while for the movie to see daylight, and from the teaser I get a very Pitch Black re-tread vibe. We’ll see how things pan out this fall as RIDDICK is set to hit theaters in September.

Deadline is reporting that Alan Ritchson (Blue Mountain State, Smallville) has signed on to play Raphael for the new live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. He’ll join already-cast Megan Fox (who’s playing April O’Neill) and will take direction from Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans, Battle Los Angeles).
The new TMNT is tentatively titled Ninja Turtles film is scheduled to hit theaters May 16, 2014.
Hummingbird sees Statham as ex-special forces member Joey Jones living on the streets while on the run from a court martial. The film is the directorial debut of writer Stephen Knight (Dirty Pretty Things, Eastern Promises).
