Catch up on a handful of new movie trailers with me

I’m playing a little movie trailer catch-up since I missed these when they were released, so enjoy this random trailer roundup with me! There have been more than a few new trailers pop up to remind us that Batman v. Superman doesn’t have to be the pin in our superhero bubble. So, cheer up. Then, there’s the madness that is Hardcore Henry (the first-person action movie formerly known as Hardcore). Also, a handful of new trailers released recently deserve their own individual posts, so stay tuned.

X-Men: Apocalypse gets a new poster

Every time new marketing material is released for an upcoming superhero movie, X-Men: Apocalypse drops something small like a poster or teaser to remind us that the movie is still on its way. All eyes are on the DC and Marvel movies that continue to make waves, but Apocalypse continues to throw punches with its attempts to stay in the ring. A brand new poster for X-Men: Apocalypse has popped up today, and it features Apocalypse himself (played by Oscar Isaac) above his four horsemen (Magneto, Storm, Psylocke, and Angel).

What do you think of the poster? If you’re still on the fence about the movie, give the newest trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse another watch.

X-Men: Apocalypse trailer teases the villain and his horsemen

X-Men: Apocalypse finally has a trailer, not to be left behind by this month’s big teaser releases, and Bryan Singer’s fourth mutant movie continues to rebuild and re-imagine the world Singer helped create way back in 2000. Maybe it’s just me, but the X-Men franchise hasn’t been as exciting or in-your-face as most of the other superhero fodder recently, but that could be a good thing.

FUN STUFF: How It Should Have Ended does X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Days of Future Past gets a How It Should Have Ended video

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the How It Should Have Ended videos, and it’s fair to say their clips can be hit or miss. That said, the latest HISHE animation is pretty spot on with its observation that Quicksilver should have stuck around in X-Men: Days of Future Past. If you haven’t seen the movie, steer clear of the video if you’re looking to avoid spoilers. If you have seen the movie, you might chuckle at the silliness on display. Plus, there’s a quirky Superhero Cafe scene that also puts Quicksilver front and center.

X-Men: Days of Future Past gets an Honest Trailer

The film fanatics over at Screen Junkies have a popular feature called Honest Trailers, and I’ve been tempted to post more than a few of their funny-yet-foul tongue-lashings of big screen blockbusters but have refrained. That said, their latest Honest Trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past (click to buy!) made me chuckle a few times, so I finally caved and will probably share their trailers in the future. I’m tiny Ron Burgundy?

Watch the comical new Honest Trailer for X-Men: days of Future Past after the jump. Be warned, most Honest Trailers can get a little language-heavy, and almost all of them are full of spoilers for the film on display.
