Ron Burgundy and pals are back in Anchorman: The Legend Continues

Ron Burgundy, the anchorman San Diego loved then hated then loved again, is returning with old friends and enemies as well as a handful of new, recognizable faces. Baxter is back too!

The mustache, the attitude, and the inappropriateness are all on display in the sequel to (dare I say) one of Will Ferrell’s funniest films. Check out the first trailer for Anchorman: The Legend Continues after the jump!

The gang’s all here. Will Ferrell, Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, and Christina Applegate are returning as the Channel 4 news team, but that’s just scratching the surface. Also joining the team on screen in some capacity will be Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson, Liam Neeson, Jim Carey, Harrison Ford, James Marsden, Nicole Kidman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kristen Wiig, John C. Reilly, Kirsten Dunst, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Greg Kinnear, Dylan Baker, and even Kanye West. Talk about a cast!

With the 70′s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” Also back for more are Ron’s co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking New York’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.
