The new Man of Steel trailer is what we’ve been waiting for!
Plus some new images and a poster for the film
The marketing for Man of Steel has given us a few teaser-type trailers and a handful of film photos, but the newest trailer has the goodness we’ve all been waiting for. We get a good look at Zod, some heartfelt heroism, and lots of Superman doing his thing!
From director Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen, Sucker Punch) comes a new film version of the Superman story. Snyder’s artistic style, overseen by producer Christopher Nolan and reeled in by writer David S. Goyer, should lend itself well to the Superman world.

Man of Steel looks to be a complete retelling, from Superman’s departure from his home world to growing up on Earth, and with Zack Snyder behind the camera we’re guaranteed some tasty eye candy.
The film stars Henry Cavill as the man of steel and puts him up against Michael Shannon as Zod. We also get some recognizable characters filled by a few big name actors. Russell Crowe is playing Superman’s real father Jor-El, and Kevin Costner and Diane Lane are his Earth parents Jonathan and Martha Kent. Laurence Fishburne and Amy Adams will play Daily Planet’s Perry White and Lois Lane, and we’ll even get a Lana Lang and Faora from actresses Jadin Gould and Antje Traue, respectively.
