Spike Jonze has always been an entertaining director and personality, and his newest film titled Her sees him tackling the digital age of awkward love. The trailer is precious, twisted, emotional, absurd, silly, fun, and a little all too real in the sense that this kind of technology might be right around the corner. That said, everyone deserves to feel loved from time to time, right?

Here’s an official synopsis for the film:
Theodore (Joaquin Phoenix), a lonely writer, purchases a newly developed operating system designed to grant the user’s every command. To Theodore’s surprise, a romantic relationship develops between himself and the operating system.
Her stars Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson, Amy Adams, Chris Pratt, Rooney Mara, and Olivia Wilde. The film hits theaters November 20th.
